About

Originally from the capital of New York, I moved to Cleveland in 2017 with my husband and our cats. Becoming an esthetician fulfilled my dream of helping people feel confident and empowered through skin and body care! I have struggled with my own inflammatory skin disorder and autoimmune issues, which allows me to understand the complexity and difficulty of moving through the world with compromised skin-and how incredible it feels to take back control!

I enjoy travel and learning about different cultures, traditions, and customs. I love finding ways to connect people and having shared experiences-whether it's trying new foods together, sharing new body products I've found, or a music playlist!

I am also an Internationally Certified Natural Henna Artist, and have worked with countless brides and events ranging from small birthday parties to street festivals with thousands of attendees. I've taught hands-on classes covering mixing and making natural henna, and the history and cultural impact of henna for many years-helping to bring new natural henna artists into the world!

On a less serious note, a few facts about me:
-I'm a cat-mom and don't need to be asked twice to share pictures of my fluff-babies!
-I love music, especially world music (my Spotify is filled with a variety ranging from Spanish to Turkish, Bollywood to Arabic trap!)
-I enjoy cooking and have a massive cookbook collection
-I am a living history reenactor in an international organization that recreates pre-17th century life
-I'm a huge fan of going to the movies!
-A favorite weekend activity is exploring the Cleveland Zoo or West Side Market

A Journey of Passion

My goal is to make everyone of all backgrounds, ethnicities, religions, genders, nationalities, and walks of life feel empowered and confident to take on the world.

I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disorder and a facial skin disorder at a young age. This made me extremely self-conscious and uncomfortable facing the world. I felt hopeless, and like I no longer had control over my world.

After countless trips to the dermatologist and doctors, after having my face repeatedly chemically burned by various lotions and products, and innumerable bad side effects from internal medications, I decided to try something else. I overhauled my diet (eating cleaner with less processed foods), and updated my skincare with more simple, naturally based and sourced progressive products rather than aggressive products. When I started seeing results, I decided to take things further. I began learning about more natural skincare remedies using traditional ingredients from around the world and incorporated them into my lifestyle.

I embarked on learning about makeup, and worked for a leading cosmetics company while in college. I enjoyed working with clients who were fighting similar battles as myself. Helping them with their skin, as well as learning about makeup, became a true work of passion. Seeing how my work positively affected their lives and outlook was truly more rewarding than I can put into words! I knew that this was a passion I wanted to pursue!

In 2017, my husband was offered an exciting career in the Cleveland area that we couldn't turn down. We packed up and moved over 500 miles from home. It was here that I discovered the perfect opportunity to finally become an esthetician, and to embark on my life journey to bring confidence, self-love, and beauty to everyone!

My goal is to make everyone of all backgrounds, ethnicities, religions, genders, nationalities, and walks of life feel empowered and confident to take on the world.
